Belajar Past Perfect Tense

7. Past Perfect Tense.
Tensis ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan suatu kejadian yang terjadi atau ide pada masa lampau dimana pada rentetetan kejadian dimase lampau itu kejadiannya terjadi lebih dulu sebelum kejadian yang lain atau penyebab kejadian yang terjadi dimasa lampau.

Untuk lebih jelasnya kita lihat struktur dengan contoh-contoh dibawah ini.

a. Struktur kalimat.
Subjek + Had + Verb_3 (kate kerje ke-3)
Semua subjeknya menggunakan HAD

b. Contoh-contoh kalimat
1. Saya sudah kehilangan dompet saya sebelum saya keilangan telpon ganggam saya- I had lost my wallet before I lost my hand-phone.
2. Kami memenangkan pertandingan sepak bola itu karena kami sudah tahu strategy mereka - We won the football match because we had known their strategy.
3. Mereka sesat di hutan karena mereka lupa membawa kompas. - They lost in the forest because they had forgotten to bring a compass.
4. Kamu sudah belajar keras sebelum kamu mendapat nilai tinggi di ujian  bahasa Inggris itu. - You had studied hard before you got  a high mark in that English test.
5. Die(perempuan) mendapat kecelakaan karna dia mengendarai motornya dengan kecepatan tinggi. - She got an accident because she had ridden her motorcycle in high speed. 
6. Dia(laki-laki) belum pernah naik pesawat sebelum penerbangannya seminggu yang lalu. - He had never flown before last week flight.

c. Contoh kalimat negative
I had not lost my wallet before I lost my hand-phone.
We did not won the football match because we had not known their strategy.
They did not lose in the forest because they had not forgotten to bring a compass.
You had not studied hard before you got a low mark in that English test.
She did not get an accident because she had not ridden her motorcycle in high speed.
